How to Stop Panic Attacks and Anxiety Attacks

    Succinctly put. This is one of the best articles I have come across on panic attacks. Not sure why, but yes, women seem to be more prone to this type of suffering. My website has an overcoming panic attacks section, which has links to panic stories submitted by visitors - and most of these are from women.

    Also, while being younger may be a risk factor, a lot of times, middle-aged people run into it for the first time in their lives as well.

    I began getting panic attacks in my mid teens right around ninth grade. It was an awful experience. I don’t know if it was just the hormones or what, but eventually I actually seemed to grow out of it. Every now and then in a very stressful situation I will still get very nervous, but not as bad as during my teen years. I just learned to cope I guess.
